Rahim Moledina - Writer Rahim Moledina has been working within the filmmaking industry since the age of seventeen. After a series of film and TV freelancing roles, which included for the BBC and Working Title Films, he went onto do his BA degree in film and video. After graduating, he worked on a series of short films which went on to be selected at numerous international festivals including the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Hamburg International Short Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival. To date, his films have garnered six awards including 'Best Lo-budget Film' at the London Short Film Festival and 'Stoli Emerging Filmmaker Award' at the Babelgum Online Film Festival. In 2010, he was one of the winners of the London Recut Online Film Competition with his short film AIR which went on to be screened at the 11th Annual Imperial War Museum Film Festival in 2011. He completed his Masters in Screenwriting at the London College of Communication in 2012, in which he achieved a Distinction grade. In the same year, one of his short scripts HARD SHOULDER won second prize in the Gimme Credit International Screenplay Competition. In 2012, he co-wrote a short film entitled THE CHOCOLATE WRAPPER, currently being sent out to film festivals. His feature film script IQBAL'S SHOES was selected from more than 3000 scripts to be part of the BBC Writersroom Scriptroom 2013. In 2014, he wrote and directed a short film to accompany Ben Watt's solo music single HENDRA, described by filmmaker Mark Cousins as a "mini-masterpiece."
